THE FOUNDER of CrazyDogPaul Grooming for dogs

My name is Paul, I'm a bit "crazy", a Great Dane mix and born in southern Italy. I was picked up on the street as a puppy by my first owners and brought with them to Germany. Unfortunately, my first owners underestimated my Italian temperament, and so I was given to a foster home run by an animal welfare association (ProTier eV).



In 2020 my current owner discovered me in a placement ad. It was love at first sight! After thorough “sniffing” I decided to go with him. Since then he has been allowed to drive me around the area in his Alfa Romeo and on my adventures.

I attach great importance to good looks and good care products. We Italians are not only a little vain but also attach great importance to good looks.

After my owner tried various dog shampoos and care products that made me smell funny, scratched me and made my fur look dull, I decided: That's enough! No more heteronomy!

2021

The idea for a dog shampoo made from olive oil came to me during my last visit to Greece with my owner. He had been given an olive oil tasting vacation trip as a gift from his friends. Of course I was allowed to come along! While my owner tried out a variety of olive oils, I ran through the sun-drenched olive groves and had THE idea!

Why not make a dog shampoo out of olive oil?

When we got back home, I called my dog buddy team together and we got to work developing a grooming range for dogs made from olive oil.

I sent my team out into the world with the task of sniffing out the best, most natural and sun-kissed olives. We found what we were looking for in Greece.

It all started with a dog shampoo made from 100% natural ingredients based on extra virgin olive oil, which ensures shiny fur and healthy skin, works against parasites such as ticks, fleas, mites and lice - and without parabens, silicones or nanoparticles and other chemical additives. This has now resulted in an entire product line that we are constantly developing and expanding.

We at CrazyDogPaul love dogs - and with passion! Our goal is a happy and satisfied dog. Because a happy dog not only enriches our lives, but as a family member it improves the quality of life of its “two-legged friends”.
